Rupesh brings over 26 years of experience in international freight forwarding, with deep expertise in ocean freight leadership, commercial growth, and organizational transformation. Most recently, he served as Vice President – Ocean Freight at DB Schenker, where he led the India and Indian Subcontinent cluster with full P&L responsibility, overseeing large cross-functional teams across India & Bangladesh.

Over the course of his career, Rupesh has held key leadership roles with global organizations such as Panalpina, Kuehne + Nagel, and Damco Logistics. His experience spans setting up new offices from the ground up, driving operational excellence, strengthening carrier partnerships and leading large-scale business transformation initiatives. A defining chapter in his journey includes his tenure as Country Manager in Mali, where he led complex logistics operations in challenging conditions, including the movement of United Nations cargo across conflict affected regions.

Rupesh holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (Marketing) from the Institute for Integrated Learning in Management, New Delhi and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics (Honours) from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi.
