HOPE (Helping Our People in Emergencies)

To Provide relief fund for drivers impacted by the lockdown

COVID-19 has adversely impacted every individual and entity in the world including our country. The national lockdown announced by the government in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic has impacted a large number of drivers. A sizable population of drivers are stranded on highways with nowhere to go and in depressing state with limited or no availability of essentials like water and food. Whether they are drivers ferrying goods between the states, across the country, or those who drive taxis for ride-sharing companies.

To combat the situation and to provide relief to the drivers, we have launched HOPE (Helping Our People during Emergencies), an initiative to support drivers financially to aid their battle against the COVID-19 lockdown. We have partnered with ‘Samhita’- a social enterprise and SuperMoney- a financial lending tech platform to reach out to the beneficiaries within ecosystem. This move will create an ecosystem to channelize CSR funds of other companies to provide economic support and recovery to workers.

As a part of the initiative, we are providing monetary support to our driver partners so that they can buy essential commodities. This will be followed by other support like assisting with health insurance cover, leveraging government schemes and loan guaranteeing model.
